I haven't read the Wrinkle in Time books in ages, but I can remember clearly when I first discovered them in my elementary school library. I remember how magical I found them. I have the clearest memory of reading A Swiftly Tilting Planet on the balcony outside my room back in Karachi. *smiles mistily at the memory*

I'm almost afraid to re-read the books that I found so magical as a child. I'm afraid they won't stand up to my skeptical adult scrutiny and crit-sharpened writer's eye. :p

Wow. What a list. Fat city, I can see. :grins:

My reading last month was...extensive. Highlights:

Reread the Wrinkle in Time Trilogy (I don't care what those people say, An Acceptable Time and Many Waters were written about the family overall but were not tightly integrated with those first three). Was amazed to find out what I'd missed the first (few) time(s) through: they're all about love. And wrapped up in adventure too. :D

All In One Place (not sure who wrote it) was...unique. Not bad, especially for throwing in some romance, but they didn't bash me over the head with it and it was a fun read in spots, intense in others, and it did one of the best jobs at describing God as a "presence" that I've ever read. Overall, a pretty good read, even if I won't reread it.

An utterly forgettable short story collection. Well, there was one good story, but I dumped the book in my little round file. Luckily it only cost ninety-nine cents.

Love (something: never fails maybe?) by Summerside Press. Gorgeous little book, all embossed in pretty gold and a gem of beautiful thoughts about love.

And a bunch of other stuff too... Bought so many books, I'm trying to remember them all.
