		<description>Everything you said about Game of Thrones is true.  Ned bites the big one because he&#039;s a naive idealist. there are way too many characters.  Thanks to Ned&#039;s, umm, demise, most of the other characters smarten up pretty quick, and there are some handy family tree type things at the end (which i refer too ALL THE TIME while reading these books).   Martin is very much worth reading, yes he&#039;s epic, yes he loves cliffhangers, yes he bashes you over the head with some things. But he&#039;s worth it.  And did I mention there is a Game of Thrones board game? it&#039;s geeky heaven!</description>

		<description>I re-read Game of Thrones last month for the class, but I loved the book from the first time I read it years ago.  I&#039;ve read the second book (re-reading it again now, since I just finished the first), but never went further.  I almost never went beyond the first book, only because the ending with Dany was so perfect I didn&#039;t want to read a sequel and have all that ruined.  I think this time, I&#039;ll keep reading and find out where he takes it.</description>
