reading roundup

January reads:

  • The Iron Hunt by Marjorie M. Liu (Cool premise, but not as good as I’d hoped. Every question was answered with more mysteries and more strange characters showing up. Definitely a Book One.)
  • Ship of Destiny by Robin Hobb (my review here)
  • Made to Stick by Chip Heath and Dan Heath (my review here)
  • The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss (review forthcoming)

What did you read this January?

  1. The Wednesday Letters by Jason F. Wright
(review ongoing; made the mistake of doing each chapter, thinking I wouldn’t finish the book that fast. Ha! http://writing.smeganpayne.com/5/category/chapter%20by%20chapter/1.html)

The Centurion’s Wife by Davis Bunn and Janette Oke
(review forthcoming; and what’s with the missing T?)

Yes, I thought it was rather ambitious of you to do a chapter-by-chapter summary. :D I’m glad you did do a wrapup of the book, though, and it seemed like you were looking at the book from a HTRYN lens (promises, promises? ;) ).
