Sounds like a good book. I’ve had several people recommend Robin Hobb to me. Will have to put it on my wish list.

I started reading Ship of Destiny last year, so I only (only! that was 400 pages!) had half the book to go when January came along. I wish there were more weeks in the year, too. I have a hard time reconciling myself to the fact that I will never be able to read all the books I want to. *sigh*

This does sound interesting! I wish there were more weeks in the year, because this does not sound like something I could read in a few days.

I’m not big on the reviews either. I never know how much to put, whether it’s too long or too short, enough info or too much. At the same time, I love sharing good books (and the library, woot).

One word: library

I don’t buy as many books as I ought to (for a writer). But I sure get get the maximum usage out of two local libraries!

I don’t have much practice at writing reviews and I feel weird posting up my amateur efforts. How else am I going to get better, though, right?

You certainly write a better review than I do! (But I’m learning, as with all the other things I only started doing three months ago. )

Now I want to read this. Of course, I have to wait for the next paycheck to roll around before plotting the allocation of bucks for maybe one book, but it sounds so very interesting. This is my kind of book. High fantasy. Dragons. Adventure. A heroine. Mm!
